TEAM Profile Interpretation

Interpretations of the T.E.A.M. Profile Scores
To obtain the Team Effectiveness Profile for the team, an average of the individual scores of the team members should be obtained.
The interpretations of the scores are as follow:
- The higher the team score, the better the effectiveness of the team.
- For each of the six sub areas of the TEAM Profile there is a minimum score of 5 and a maximum score of 25.
- The meaning of each of the sub-scores (Each of the six sides or dimensions of team performance) are as follow:
- 10 or less means low effectiveness;
- A score from 11 to 19 means average effectiveness;
- A score of 20 and above means high effectiveness in that area.
- The Total Score for the profile is the addition of the six sub-scores, and it has a minum of 30 (very low effectivess) to a maximum of 150 (very high effectivess.)
- A Total Score of 60 and less indicates a genrally low effectiveness
- A Total Score between 61 and 119 indicates a generally average effectiveness
- A Total Score of 120 and above indicates a generally high effectiveness.
Ways to Improve the Team’s Effectivenss
To improve the team’s effectivess, the team should work on improving its scores in all the areas where it scored a low or average effectivess level (Below 20 for each of the six categories.)
See the Facilitator's Guide for strategies, activities, and discussions on the ways to improve effectiveness in each of the Six Pillars of Team Performance.
